Oliver Jeffers’ People Live Here is a unique limited edition print created in celebration of The Moon, the Earth and Us, an immersive public installation opened in New York in January of 2019 on New York's High Line. Stemming from a new body of work greatly inspired by his latest book Here We Are, Oliver attempts to comprehend our place in this vast universe while examining the perspective shift achieved upon considering the Earth as a single entity seen at a distance. Adorned with hand-painted elements by Jeffers in vibrant golds, whites, and yellows, the edition is numbered in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Earthrise photograph, the first image of Earth in its entirety, taken December 24th, 1968 on the Apollo 8 mission.
